The victim’s family is from the Selo family, and from the residents of Al-Sukaria village. The armed men seized their agricultural land, which is estimated at 750 acres, and within the land there are four electric wells that are fed by the electricity of the Allouk-station, east of Serêkaniyê.
According to the activists, the family has been calling for the armed faction for more than a year to recover its property, and the activists confirm that the armed men are investing these lands and cultivating them with wheat, barley, beans and cotton.
Because of the confiscation of the Selo family’s home, their members are sleeping in the open in front of their land, and in their al-sukariya village east of Serêkaniyê.
